At Phase 4 Performance we believe ‘Exercise Is Medicine’ and our dedicated Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEP) staff are committed to the incorporation of individualised exercise programs to manage existing conditions and provide long term solutions to quality of life and wellbeing.
Our Exercise Physiologists have a special interest in exercise prescription for injury rehabilitation, postural balance, stability and clinical conditions including metabolic disease, cardiovascular rehabilitation and exercise for individuals with osteoporosis to dramatically improve quality of life and wellbeing. Exercise physiologists provide return to work programs, undertake fitness assessments, then develop and implement individualised exercise programs to meet the needs of the client.
In a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care at P4P, our Exercise Physiologists consult on-site with Physiotherapists, Massage Therapists and our Dietitian to provide a holistic approach to develop the most suitable and individualised program for each client.At P4P our Exercise Physiologists also perform a range of exercise tests, including VO2max testing and individual physiological and physical providing to develop training programs specific to your goals. Health Fund Rebates may be available if you have Extra’s cover for Exercise Testing undertaken by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, please check your insurer for further information. At Phase 4 Performance, your Exercise Test is conducted by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) therefore Health Fund Rebates are often available for this service if you have Allied Health Private/Extra’s Health Cover.
At P4P we offer one-on-one and group exercise sessions to meet the needs of the individual and provide a safe and friendly environment. Exercise Physiology services may be available under Medicare and the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan or Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) program, we advise clients to speak to your GP about your entitlement to Medicare-paid visits.
Health Fund Rebates are also available for many Private Health Funds under an Exercise Physiology consultation and can often be processed In-Clinic at the time of your test. Some health funds also allow you to claim a certain amount annually for Health Preventative Measures which may include fitness/weight loss/health programs. You may need to complete a form your Health Fund that can be signed by your physiotherapist or doctor for these services. At Phase 4 Performance we welcome any 3rd party, WorkCover, Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) or Department of Veterans Affair (DVA) patients. We charge no gap for WorkCover or DVA Exercise Physiology services and if you are covered by Workers Compensation or The Department of Veterans Affairs, we will be happy to send our accounts directly to these organizations on your behalf.In all cases please refer to your individual private health fund for information regarding your level of cover.
